ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    re-wire

I have the same setup and after carefully reviewing and doing alot of research, it's just a re-wire. Haven't done the setup myself but when the car is on, you can simply put the key in the key lock hole located on the right of the shift console to get it out of park and drive it normally. You have to do it every time though when it's in park; can also act as a theft prevention.

ohh yeah, i never followed up on this.

anyways, the only way to not have to put the key in the key hole, is to take the trim piece off the center console, and remove the locking meconism,, 2 . 10mm bolts and a pin and walla, works perfect everytime.

This is from the swap FAQ...

        Courtsey of JWise1203:

To make the shift lock operate properly you will need to run a wire from the shifter position switch to the tranny controller. On the left side of the shifter there is a box with about 5/6 wires going into it. This is the shifter position switch. You need to tap into the GRN/WHT wire and run it back to pin A7 on the TCM. Plug A is the bigger of the 2 plugs.

Is the A7 location in the factory 93 Accord harness or the A7 on the P19 tcm? A diagram would be nice?

So all you have to do is "that the big Grey plug has a white/green wire, cut it off the plug. The smaller Grey plug has a green/white wire, cut that one off the plug then you put the white/green and green/white wire together, the side that is cut away from the plug, so your pretty much jumping them together." Are you jumping from the TCM plugs or from the shifter plugs?
