Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Wierd buzzing sound from engine/tranny

    These past few days I have been hearing a buzzing sound coming from the engine bay. Yesterday I began to get extra curious so i popped the hood and put my ear towards the engine bay and began to search for where the sound was coming from. The sound came from the engine or tranny and have a feeling that its more closer to tranny. Any idea what it could be?

    Like a hissing or a whine? Does it change with the engine RPM?

      it actually occurs when in idle. It sounds like a bumble bee is in there crashing onto the walls. Its that type of buzzing sound.

        Same thing happned to me! Mine was the main fan motor buzzing!

            Nope its not fans. Its actually coming from the intake.

              Is this new? Cause my intake always whistled/hissed since i put it in.

                the hissing sound is normal ...but the sound im hearing is not.

                  im havin the same problem it is from the intake i think its the iacv but i cant verify it when i unplug it it surges up n down kind of fast so idk

                      I HAVE THIS PROB bro AND yes its a Buzzin noise, i think i need fluid cuz b4 it didnt do that im scurred man when i left off clutch and its in gear i hear it, when i put clutch in for nuetral it stops, back in gear and the buzzin comes as im drivin i dont hear it only when i let off the clutch in gear.
