ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Lowering Kit...

So, I know there's probably a bunch of threads for this exact subject, but I can't find 'em. um, just wonderin' what exactly do I need for lowering? I've found coilovers and all, but it's not as easy to find struts. I just want a lowering that's decent, looks nice, and handles like a charm. Comfort's not a big deal, but only if possible. And it'd be nice if they weren't too expensive.

go with a set of (neuspeed, eibach, sprint, tein.) springs and new strut. Also how much are you looking to drop your car. you man need a camber kit depending on your drop.

    :edit:

Lemme know if you find anything you like.

Now i know why some of our more senior members keep telling ppl to search. I looked at sticky's, and searched the net, and i even made my own thread. No wonder nobody read it or gave it much thought...there was another one right behind it

I just want maybe....a 2" drop, cause I'm gettin' a lip kit also, and I don't want it too low to the ground. We have railroad tracks and stuff everywhere. Too low, and the lip kit wouldn't be an option anymore. Just to get an idea, what I'd need would be, lets say...http://www.k2motor.com/co-acd90-tom-a.html for the springs (I'd rather coilovers so I can adjust myself), and, ummm...http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...nd_shocks/kyb/ Struts? Just examples. Just wanna know if I have the idea. Oh, and a little off the lowering kit subject, but I was wondering if I could put an intercooler on the car, without it havin' a Super or Turbo. I'm guessing it'd keep the engine cooler either way? Plus, I need something to lighten' up my front grill, and an intercooler would fit that nicely.

when i lowerd my car, i wish i had this website. every single person i talked to said "It doesnt matter what strut you buy, all the struts that fit your car will work with a lowering kit". So i got coilovers and some Monroe struts for the stock car. And guess what? it does matter what strut you buy and lots of people dont know what there talking about, so just do reaserch, make sure you also get a shorter stut.

That's the thing. I already have the coilovers in mind, but struts aren't the easiest to go about finding, and if I do, I don't know exactly what to look for. http://www.k2motor.com/co-acd90-tom-a.html <The coilovers I want, but I need to find struts that would fit well with 'em.
