Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    tranny cost

    how much do you guys think a new tranny will cost 4 my cb7?
    its about 2 blow and i need to replace it but dont know how much itll cost and do you guys know were i could find a good 1 from?

      like when i take off quick it wont change gears tilllike 5 or 6 thousand rpm and when it does change gears itll throw your head back and when i make turns and press on the gas the rpm will go way up without changing gears.
      do you guys think that its ready to blow?

          I've bought mine for € 250,-. That was for the tranny, pedals, clutch, shiftcables and gearframe, etc.

                    My car was doin the same exact thing so i had my trans flud chaanged and its better.....BUT i discovered even b4 i changed th fluid that my trans is leaking fluid and found out that its the gaskets that need to be replace. so check to see if its leaking anything

                        yeah actually my car is leaking.. so you think i should change the gaskets and change the transmission fluid

                          2 change the gaskets/seals the tranny has to b apart from the motor.

                          but change it asap. that DIY is EASY to understand any questions send me a PM. I jus did this 2 weeks ago.

                              i havent seen 1. but u gotta kno somew knowledge of removin the tranny. but i havent seen a diy for that.
