ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Trying to breathe alittle better

I have a 92 lx accord 4dr auto I just bought a parts car that has a f22a6 motor h2u5 trans and a pt6 ecu. I bought it just for the trans swap but after doing a little research I might be inclined to swap out the intake manifold as well. I know the a6 mani has secondaries and require vacuum to operate and I am assuming it also requires some sort of power source but after all the research I did I could not find anything about wiring info. I would also like to know if someone could tell me the difference between the f22a1 and the f22a6 like internal wise.
    I need a 14b or 16g turbo!

Not to sure of the condition of it. I was told it had about 130,000 on it but dont know what the compreesion is. Also one of the ears that hold the distributor on the head is cracked. It looks in good shape but looks can be decieving. The only thing I can say is I can turn the crank by hand.

Does anyone know the difference between the f22a1 and f22a6 internal wise what gives the f22a6 the extra 15 horsepower over the f22a1

I am going to be swappin the cam, ecu, and intake manifold from an f22a6 to my f22a1 soon and was wondering are the injectors form the a6 manifold the same as the ones from the a1 manifold and also the ecu i have is a pt6-a11 I am sure it is for a 5-speed and my car is a automatic but I am also going to do the trans swap. Would I still be able to drive it with the pt6 ecu until I swap the transmission.

There is NOTHING internally different between the two motors. Everything listed above is what makes the difference.
