Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Gas Milage: 520km to the tank any good?

Does this gas milage seem resonable?

~520 kilometers per tank on a bone stock AUTO 1991 F22A6 engine?
The car currently has 292,000KMS on the odometer.

My driving habits are normal with 1/2 city and 1/2 highway driving.

My friend with a CD5 claims to have gotten 600km per tank driving conservatively.

    Thanks.

      1 kilometer = 0.621371192 miles so:
323 miles per tank. not too bad considering you're doing some city driving.
I've heard of a few guys here getting 450+miles out of a single tank of gas. thought I think that was mostly highway driving. I myself am lucky to get 350 out of a tank of gas from a all highway trip. crazy h22s

      1 mile = 1.609344 kilometers

It's good to know that this kind of milage is expected... I run on 89 grade octane fuel... The manual calls for 91, but it's too expensive.

It's an F22A6 like I've mentioned above. I will scan the book one day to prove that it says 91 octane... It's a 1991 EXR with ALB F22A6 engine Canadian Car.

exactly how big is our tanks?

the F18a originally was able to run nearly 650km's on a tankfull

the f22a was superb at first, averaging 430km's in stop go traffic, then it dropped to under 330km on highway driving (110km/h)

I get about 315 miles (almost 510 km) per tank and that with 90% city driving. I thought that was bad until I took a look at how much stop-n-go I deal with on a daily basis. DC traffic .
