you know the main hp difference that i've noticed is mainly compression and intake manifold maybe a little bit has to do with the cam and ecu but the main diff. is the intake and the compression. i mean if the f22 had 11.0:1 and a larger intake manifold stock im pretty sure it make 200hp at flywheel too and probably more torque than the h22. torque is what really matters anyways, an h22 makes about 155ft/lbs and an f22a6 makes what....145ft/lbs. not that much diff. to be higher compression with a better intake manifold. dohc and sohc is not really a big issue. they both have 16 valves. and once you upgrade cams vtec doesnt really matter unless you worried about gas milage with power. i know i sound long-winded but i think i might just play with my f22.
