ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Help Me Start My Car!!

Well, today I found my keys which were lost for about two wks. (I sure thought I had lost them forever). Either way, here's the main problem. My 91 Accord EX won't start at all. Now, before you go and say bad alternator, check the battery, etc. there is something important to mention... It doesn't even get that far!! It alllll starts back @ the ignition switch. I put in the key (and yes, it's the correct one) and it won't engage even to the "I" position. The farthest it gets is about halfway there. I'm in need of some major help right now. Flood me with responses!!

thanks for the quick responses so far... it's an AUTO and i'm familiar with the "jiggle the steering wheel" trick. unfortunately, that didn't work either. what else ya got?

p.s. i'll be sure to charge the battery a bit later today. it's been sitting in the garage cause i don't remember any sparks when i hooked it up earlier.

well, i think it was actually. for some reason there is a piece just near the key hole on the bottom side that reads the key in the ignition (it tells the car to make that annoying chime, "dee dee dee dee") so you won't forget your keys. as much as i've tried to put that back in where they key can go in and go out freely, i haven't been able to do so. i think i'll just leave it out and unscrewed. from there, my key goes in, starts the car and come out smoothly.

p.s. just to customize it anyway, i'm going to get a push button start!!
