Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Car wont Start, weird symptoms!

    So yesterday i opened my door up to fix the window cause the window came out of the slit, then i attached everything back.

    This morning when i came out to start the car, i heard the alarm going crazy, like it goes on for abit then it slowly dies while this is happening, i hear heaps of clicking noises coming from the engine, maybe the starter? Also i hear my central locking going crazy too like that same sound when u close it, u hear it click as well repeately.

    whats happening? is it my battery or starter?

    could be a bad terminal connection or a dead/dying battery.

    a bad starter just won't start your car. it will either do nothing or spin and not engage the engine, just making a whirring sound

    did you leave something on to kill the battery overnight?

      Damn....im not sure if maybe yesterday when i was fixing the door, i did try wind the windows up and down to test if the window was working, and i think i did leave the key in the egnition on 2nd notch so that its on while i was working on the window. So if the starter is the problem, it will make a whirring noise yeah? I reckon its my battery then....

      I'm gonna test it now with another battery, thanks man...

        I would retrace what you did and make sure you didnt pinch any wires. or cause the drain but thats what usually happens when your battery goes low your alarm starts acting funny.Had that happen more times then I would have liked. I would also check the alternator maybe thats the reason your car died and the window thing has nothing to do with just coincedence.
        I need a 14b or 16g turbo!

          Alright, thanks guys (munge, riceaccord). I just jumped it with my brothers cars battery and it started first go.
