ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Window wont slide into place! [Picture]

    Okay........

Sorry, the word that got Cut off in the picture is suppose to say "GAP"...

So the other day when i was winding the window up, the window just came out of its socket. After pulling the door apart, i put the window back into the slits and when i winded the window up, as you can see from the picture. The gap widens.......Is there something i need to adjust to keep the window going back in the correct direction, instead of going out, it needs to sit plush in the gap? Is there something i can adjust?

I didnt dare wind the window down too much cause the gap widens even larger when u wind it back up..

    Anyone know?

    Thanks

hahaha damn, u guys all got the problem too ey! why didnt u guys say anything, make me have to run out and use the camera and shit. LOL

the thing is, this is my driver side (RHD) and it shits me cause i cant wind it down too much to go thru mc donalds drive thrus or get parking tickets etc. Once it winds down too much theres a chance it might come out of the socket again. Hecticccccc i reckon theres something you can adjust...just waitin for a professional to hear us out aye!

when you take the door panel cover off, look at the bottom of the door. through the holes in the door, you should be able to see a metal arm.

This arm is attached to the motor at one end and a track attached to the window on the other end.

            still with me?

the track attached to the window should be quite adjustable. you'll have to play around with it to get it back into place.

i hope you understand and can see what I'm talking about. maybe someone else can explain better.

              Take off door panel
then look at the middle of the door, You will see some openings and there is one large opening where the door lock is.
Now right where the door lock is, there is a long arm that runs inside the door. And at the beginning of the arm there is a bolt holding it.

Loosen the bolt, Push the arm down, Tighten the bolt and send the window up. If it still does it, Go back and re-adjust the arm.

              __
__0 ---- Thats how the bolt will be, And the lines are
              __ actually on the door.

                          Ok....i got one for ya...

Im missing the clips from my DS-front window(I need to replace them anyway), so when id roll the window up, id have that 1/4-1/2" gap. I could lose the gap by lowering the window a bit and rolling it back, then down, then up, and just toying with it. For the most part, i didnt worry about it.

Anyway, about a week or 2 ago, i was just rolling the window up like normal and i guess i rolled it too long and right as it got to the top, it made this loud "crunk". And up until yesterday, it would roll down fine, but itd get stuck every 8 inches or so, and id have to help it up. Well, now it wont do either. Up or down. I got the panel off, and looked as best i could, but those holes are at the bottom corner of the door and its kinda hard to really see whats going on in there. Im thinking that replacing the regulator might help, but does anyone know of anything else this could be besides the regulator?
