my car wont start everytime i put the key in it makes a beeping sound and when turned half way all the dash lights are on but when trying 2 start all the dash light go out and it just clicks and when you turn it back the dash lights are very dim and then they brighten back up would this be the starter or battery or the battery cable wires?

id say look and see if the wires on the starter/alt/battery are in good shape and tightened down also make sure the ones on the battery are clean and corrosion free

i bought new battery cables but if it was the starter would all the lights on the dash go out?Comment

my car did that the other day when replacing the rear mount ..but it waz the ground tuching...check your ground..

I had a similar problem. The lights would come on but when I tried to turn it over it would click. I troubleshooted, battery first. It was a walmart battery (bad idea) and there computer said it was good, so I tried a bunch of other stuff. BUT it was indeed the battery

your car isa ground like said before, you needa ground touching otherwise its not gonna complete your circuit... if something is grounding (better known as shorting) out that means a positive source is touching a ground (your chassis) somewhere.. im gonna go with starter tho.. good luckComment

i'd say take your battery to a advance auto/auto zone type place and let them test it. Then try starter. Normally the battery test is free.-1992 Accord EX H22 234whp 185wtq
