ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    f22b1 head limitations

so i have decided to do a complete engine swap. take out my f22b2 and replace with the b1. i already heard that it is not the best head to make HP but i got a really good deal on a complete engine. so basically i want to know...should i port the head? any other headwork i can do while i have it off the motor? i heard some people change valves larger on the intake side. but i dont want to do anything unless it will actually make power. also pistons? should i change them, which ones? and any idea how much power we are talking here?

    thanx cb7 4 life

    haha

you can visit f22parts.com seller on ebay hes always got some nice f22 parts....and changing your valve size on the intake side wont really benifit you unless your going to do a turbo build... just need your basic bolt ons unless you wanttin to spend quite a bit of money.

f22b1 head already has larger intake valves than the exhaust side

my head is port n polished with stainless steel valves, rebuilt with a custom cam and cam bearings. but all work was done before i bought the head, so i've yet to fully explore the power gains from all the work done
          here is pics

personally, if you looking for moderate power than just swap it in. But there are better options out there in the long run unless you go boost (which the f22b1/2 see pretty good gains)

            NICE ^^^^^

ya boost is always an option, but as of right now it would be strictly N/A.i really think it needs a port after i looked at the exaust ports, intake side looked okay kinda big, basically its what i have availible and yes i want to build it. i am not about to spend a couple grand on a h22. its really hard to find h22/h23 in hawaii and if i did find it it would be REALLY expensive for that price i could be HELLA boosted

o yea F22 is ***, kinda pricey and i have yet to find something i wanted to buy there
