ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    92 Honda Accord HELP?

    IIte, check it.
I just bought my cb7 from a buddy down the road from me about a month ago.
"Buddy" not so much, didnt tell me there was massive blowby. I had taken the Vtech head off because the valve seats were fucked, and i put the stock one back on, so guess what, started it, and it ran like shit, timing was dead on checked with a timing light, but it still sounded like the timing was off, and it mis fired a lot, idle was normal when cold, but once coolant temp rose, it fluctuated from 1000 to 1500. so i figured the eacv was the culprit. before i messed with it, i decided to check the compression... cylinder 4 read 25 psi, my gauge is ancient, but the other 3 measured around 80, still low. I readjusted the valve lash, .010 intake and .012 exhaust. it didnt make a difference, still blowby. So i bought an f22b2 off of another buddy and its sitting in my garage, its all ready to go, just need a new clutch, i heard it was beat on pretty badly. so im waiting for that. I would love to know what intake manifolds fit the F22b2 head. The one that is on there is a dual stage intake manifold, i just dont know wtf it is off of. it says PGI Programmed Fuel Injection at the top. errrr can someone help me? Oh and btw cylinder 4 never even fired when i got it started after i put the stock head back on. I got a new exhaust mani, and only the first 3 cylinder pipes turned gold.... grrrr i hope this f22b2 works out for me!!!! if not, who knows A lot about the F22B2's???????????????????????
    Fun with Paint... haha.

dont put a F22b2 in your 92 accord. especially if you know it was 'beat on.' but too late you bought it. the F22A1 or F22A6 are much better motors. The heads on F22b2 and the F22b1 are crap. you cant put a H23 intake manifold on an F22b2 if that is what you are referring to.

      uhhh

no the f22b2 is in really good condition, the f22a1 thats in there now is the one with blowby, i know the f22b2 is gonna haul ass once i get everything right, you can still see the the honing marks perfectly. it looks awesome, but the manifold thats on there matches perfectly. Very perfectly, all passages are the same, in size and shape. i just dont know what manidold it is.
