Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    passing smog

    my dads againts me gettin headers becuzz he thinks that i'm not gonna be able too pass smog... which i think isn't true...
    is it???

    if not, how wud i pass then wit headers?
    cuzz i'm gonna order em 2morrow and i don't wanna waste my money for notin...

    make sure it has a carb number on it and it will pass visual. even if wasn't carb apporved it will pass the sniffer but will fail visual. If u know someone then visual isn't a problem

      aight cool... but wats the carb. number... its just the DC sport 4-2-1 header

        carb numer is what makes the part legal, If it's a real dc sports header it should bring it, mine does.

          i mean i orderin it from a local shop and their legit.
          310$ sound right? and another question, if i decided too paint the header which i don't think i will but if i did, wud the heat from the header make the paint chip off???

            no problems at all man, 310 is kinda high man try lookn on ebay u will probably find one cheaper. Also if u do go on ebay don't get tricked into buying a fake one make sure it's real.

            I got mine used and painted it with 1200 degree paint i've only driven the car maybe 4 times it's holding up well so far.

                  you should be able to pass. i know a guy in your area. he's pretty chill...at least for me. he's located on moody and lincoln, near the discount tire. i'm assuming youre in california and in the los alamitos that im thinking of...lol.

                    If your car is running right then you will pass the test without a problem.
