Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    F20A s/dohc Tranny Code

    For those of you who Had or Have the F20A motors, and wasnt able to find the tranny code for that motor, Our good friend, Lo-Specials was able to find the CODE for us thru a japanese junkyard where he got his tranny from and with the trace number on the receipt they looked into there computer and find this tranny code.

    The code is: H2S8

    Thanks Lo, Now i can find a matching trans for my motor!

            Now that's a good question! I didn't pay attention to it because it broke down for the 4th time in 4 years so I didn't care and throwed it away

                Whats the spec of the trans. You can compare gear ratios that will tell you whether the gearing is wider, same or closer to the original. Its pointless buying the trans just because it is "for that motor" if the gearing is the exact same as stock.

                  H2J4, I think compared to the H2S8, the J4 has shorter gears.

                    Does anyone else have any info on the H2J4, i just got done swapping my F20A DOHC the last weekend. Have to do minor things, heater hose, axles, and thats about it, but the trans code is H2J4. I googled, went on Honda-Tech, its almost like this tranny doesnt exist. Thanks guys
