ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Who has installed The F20B SIR Motor?

I have the motor for sometime now and i have finally decided to install it. Does any one have helpful hint to help resolve issues I might encounter when trying to install this motor? Bear in mind i am talking about the F20B SIR Motor with the blue top. My F20B is an automatic with tranny. I have a 93 Accord Automatic I want to put it in. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

OBD2-1 Conversion and the rest of the wiring should be covered in the swap stickies in the swap section. Its on the top of the page but it will tell you how to do all the rest of the wiring. It should drop right in like the h22a.

EDIT You might have to do something with the trans though since its tiptronic as i recall on those.

Okay here what i got so far. I have a Automatic 1993 Accord. I have a Pretty much complete Sir motor i.e (F20B engine, ECU, Automatic Tranny). Dont I totally skip the OBD1 Conversion since I have an OBD2 ECU? I am so confused.

Your car is OBD1 and the engine/ecu is OBD2 you have to convert in order to adapt....

Just taking a stab at it, but I think that is right.

how will your obd 2 ecu plug onto your obd 1 connectors??

and the injector wires for the power and signal are different. there are more to it than that though. But I do not have all the answer. the easiest, h22 intake manifold and inectors (obd 1), obd 1 p13 ecu and tcu. expensive way, send your harness to hasport and have them rewire your engine harness for you to fit that motor.$$.................. OBD (On Board Diagnostic) obd2 is all cars from 96 and up. Different emissions and plugs etc.

                Need The Wiring Diagram...

I need the diagram of the wiring of the F20B Auto ECU? Can anyone help me? I want to get this one shop to make the wiring harness for me so i don't have to splice my own wirer. To complicating for me.

Why splice it, go to Honda, ask them for a wiring harness for that year motor, although it might cost ya a bit.

since u got all the stuff for the conversion

go the OBD-II route buddy, presuming u got the whole CF4 wiring loom

uve got the ECU+TCU (they are one unit, unlike the original ECu and TCU which are separate)

                    and keep that tiptronic

i regret not finding the TCU for my transmission (taken from a BB6)

                      "I need Wiring Dragrams!"

I am still to new for all this. If you have a writen setup I am willing to try it out. But as of now I just want to take the most simple route that even me and my buddy could do. "I need Wiring Dragrams!"
