ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

If your lookin to boost your car, THen a HEADER is not for you
you will need a TURBO MANI.

UNLESS U WANNA GO NA( all motor. Naturally aspirated)

    Then u get a header.

Not trying to sound like a dick or anything but it never hurts to search.. Just from the sound of your questions you have not done much research.. This site is full of information, just take a little time, do some reading and chances are your questions have been answered.. If not then post em up..

any header is better than the stock cast iron manifold...i installed some into my 3gee and the responce and power is amazing. i also have a 2.25 pipe with 2.25 magnaflow muffler. i think it might of freed up like 8-12 hp. from stock

pick a path and stick with it. You either build it for NA or you build it for boost. not both.

if your going boost, dont buy a header yet, you have to buy a special turbo manifold. (or make if you have access to a pipe bender and welder)

then the next step i would take is round up all the parts, turbo, injectors, and most importantly, a tuned ecu (i believe its MCX on here that does them, correct me if im wrong tho)

dont cheap out on charge pipes. get good ones so you dont have to replace them constantly.

You're not JDM until you have a car built in ohio with tons of bolt ons from ebay.

well if he builds the engine he can break it in with NA and then run turbo....but he sounds like he still does not know what to do.
