lookin around, i found a JDM F22B with 5 spd tranny for $1250 with free shipping on www.got-jdm.com. anyone had any experience with them, is that a good price? just want some feedback

$1250 shipped for the motor and tranny is a pretty good deal. If it comes with the P39 ECU, that's a GREAT deal (they're tough to track down, usually). I've never heard of them before, though. See if you can do some research on their history and afilliations. The address is in CA, which is good... but try to confirm that it's not owned and operated by a non-American company. Many importers are Asian or Canadian, and do shady business in the US. Engine importing is quick money, and a couple thousand dollars isn't worth the cost and effort to wage an international legal battle... OsakaJDMmotors is notorious for this.
To be safe, www.hmotorsonline.com is the best place to get an engine. They've been around forever, and they have a great reputation. I got mine from them. They don't have the F22B on their site, but you can call (don't call on a Monday!) and they can tell you if they can get them and how much they'd be. Emails will NOT be answered by them... I know, I tried
