ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

well it's Vtec, and that's an f22b1. It not as easy as you said, unless you read the DIY on it. Acclude made one a while back...he had to bend his fuel lines, use the internediate shafts from the b1, reposition his vaccuum lines, cut his PS bracket..yadda yadda. basically he said it's a little harder than an H22 swap. As for your exhaust, the headers MIGHT fit... I'm like 82.76% sure it'll fit, but I know for a fact your cat back will

If your going to spend the money on a swap, JDM F22 or H22, maybe find an H23Vtec from a CB wagon. Anything else is going to require trans adapter plates, custom axles, ect...

wow lol a d16? lol thats a civic motor you might as well just keep the f22 in there if you want to go that low. If your looking for power and easy installation
either get a H22, H23, F20b oR Maybe even a K20a (if that will even fit ) lol Im going with the h22, yeah its most popular but works fine and less headache
if your willing to just get a motor thats strong but inexpensive go with the h23

NOTHING from a Civic or Integra will work.

The SOHC VTEC motors suck. The stock motor is better. If you don't want to keep the F22A (the motor in your car now), these are the motors you should be looking for:

                    H22A
                    H23A
                    F20B
                    F22B DOHC

All are fairly easy swaps (the hardest part is wiring for VTEC on the VTEC motors, tapping a hole in the transmission, and dealing with converting the motor from OBD2 to OBD1 if you get one newer than 1995)

f22a and f22b# headers are not interchangable....The ports are different

If you just want a stock motor f22a1 motors can be found all day for 150-200 bux.....Its a better swap then the f22b1 cuz its a better motor and its a direct swap.
