ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Major Problem

I'm so sick right now. Always code 1.

In under 1 month I have replaced 3 o2 sensors. I tried to change to another ECU and still the same thing. I'm running OEM o2 sensor. I have new NGK Wires and plugs.

In order for the Code 1 to show up, The car randomly loses power and go misfire 2 times. Then boom Code 1 shows up.

Any ideas why the oxygen sensor is always to blame?

My suspected culprits are the ff:

    - EGR Clogged
    - Fuel Injector Clogged
    - Low cylinder compression
    - Igniter Malfunction
    - Fuel filter clogged
    - Electrical problem

Please don't tell me "Search Noob" I'm having a headache about this right now. I'm in need of help.

I'd rather get this fix on my own than spending a fortung to a shop.

    Thanks in advance.

Don't know if this'll help, but a while back a buddy and I were doing a tune up on a CD5 with an f22b1. We had this kid replace the fuel filter and valve cover gasket while we did the plugs, cap rotor...yadda yadda. So the tune up's all done, I go to start the car, and it starts shaking and rocking like crazy. The RPM'a were around 250-500. A code came up (it's OBD II btw, so I don't know what code 1 means), but it was a cylinder 2 misfire. We figured it'd be somethign electrical like you suggested. But turns out when the kid did the fuel filter, he swapped the two vaccuum lines on the bottom of it...we swapped them back, and she started right up, idling like normal.

Don't know if that'll help...just my story of a wierd CEL

Hmm , since fuel filter is given , so I knew that the previous owner lied to me then. He said he replaced it but according to my visual inspection it was old as 1992. So imma check that thing tomorrow. Thanks for your story bud
