ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Suspension

I am slowly working to fix this car, coming to them as money allows and the importance of the fix. My delema is struts at the moment. I'm not looking for the best of the best but I do want quality products, and I don't want factory replacements. Also, I HATE doing anything twice if I can avoid it, especially when it comes to money. So...later down the road, this car will have 18" wheels on it but for now we're stuck at 15". So...I need a semi-economical strut that will work with what I've got goin on wheel size now, and later. Can someone point me in the direction of a decent coilover/spring set and ummm...will I need chamber correction kit with them?

dont use an coilover sleeves on a strut they suck and real coilovers well cost u at least 800 which doesnt sound to be in your range 1st u have to decide how low of a drop u want i like 2-2.25" its a good drop without compromise of performance many diff. companies r good i like sprint springs but there are others they all run around 150-200 and for a good strut non-adjustable totico blues r decent or kybs but i heard they hold ur car up higher

Everything can always be painted so don't buy it because it's blue. Buy it because you think that your car will ride best on it. If you purchase a shock absorber that is a terrible match to your spring rate you won't care what the color is because you will hate the ride. Read the suspension forum side of this website and you will realize that if you truly want to only do things once, you can't cheap out and you can't pick things based on color.
