Header Question (JVT eBay Header)

anyone out there have this header and downpipe setup? if ya do i would like to know your opinion of them, even if ya don't, if they look like pieces of crap (quality wise) i would just like to know because, they look pretty good to me and i was going to buy it this coming friday.

No No NO, dude i had the same type of headers, they look like good quality to me but if you want to take the careful procedure of bending the AC lines a little and remounting the ac compressor with 4 washers on each stud that it holds to, then dont, but if you dont mind doing that work, then i guess go for it, just my 0.02 cents. P.S. the oil pan mounting holes on the down pipe wont fit.

i would just buy a megan header, or obx ceramic, or just get an a4 header

yeah ebay headers are that cheap for a reason ....cuz they sucks balls.

i'm using one for my h22 right now cuz i had to get something now and didn't have the cash. i kick myself daily they bolt up fine but the gaskets that come with them are shitty and should be replaced before installing. they leak bad. the bolts/hardware they come with are good once they go on and come off good sometimes but after that forget it. and the flew pipe and rear most bracket for rubber mounts aren't in the right spots and it hits sometimes on the under side of the car. i had one for my f22a6 as well and got rid of it and went back to stock downpipe with the stainles upper. my .02

Just remember that you get what you pay for, well on ebay you take the chance of getting less then you paid for...

Finding an F22a4 header in the Junkyard is the most logical choice IMO. Unless you just can't live without your header having some shine to it.. Or you can always save up for a Bisi header.. Later

about 150 or so with shipping, its bout the same for ceramic and stainless, i would go with the ceramic

The Megan header is about the same price as the JVT header, and the quality is like night and day when you compare the two. Typical cheap headers have trouble lining up properly, poor port matching, poor finishing in typically unseen areas (look at the inside of that port...) and typically come with shitty gaskets. Go with a known name brand (preferably not Pacesetter...) and save yourself a lot of headaches. Megan is a good quality header, DC Sports is excellent and Bisi...well, that thing is absolutely a thing of beauty. It's in a class of its own. Just remember, you DO typically get what you pay for.
