ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

naw. a dual tipped muffler from the EX wont give you any gains. its just there for looks. get an aftermarket dual tipped muffler and that'll give you a gain. like a 1 or 2hp. but nothing noticeable tho.

I have the dual tipped muffler with a 4-2-1 header, sounds nice with stock piping, doing to upgrade soon to a Dynomax TURBO mufler, higher flow, no gain, just sounds better

I'd suggest just getting a whole new exhaust setup, which im planning on doing. Or if you like the stock dual tip, you can be like me and buy the walmart chrome tips to give it a better look.lol. (you can see if you want on the link below) Most people at the early stages of enhancing their rides get a short ram or cold air intake. Its probaly the most cheapest and somewhat effective gain for their car. But thats just IMO..

what I was thinking about was getting aftermarket racing header and runin 2.5 inch piping with the stock ex dule muffler. will this set up add some hp and keep the cops off my tail? i dont want that loud raspy sound you kno?

                      Dual. "dule" isn't a word.

2.5" piping through a stock muffler would be worthless. Try blowing through a drinking straw while pinching the end. That's what you'd get. If you're going to run a stock muffler, run stock size piping. If you want quiet, get the Apex'i World Sport full exhaust. Nice gains, near stock sound until you really get on it. It's got a pretty big shiny muffler, but if you really want it to be stealth, paint it black.
