ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    possible help?

i'm kinda new to this site but i've had my cb for almost 2 years now. the f22 that is in it now has a lot of miles on it and my water pump seized up on me a couple months ago. i'm not really tryin to spend the time/money to replace the timing belt and water pump when i can save myself the hassle and just drop a new(er) f22 in it. this will also take car of some other issues i've been having with it. i've helped friends swap motors before, everything from a 2jz to a rb25 and various hondas. my problem is that all of those friends have moved out of state and there is no way any of them can get back to help me do the swap. i miss my car like crazy and i'm fairly confident i can do it myself but i kinda need it to be finished in a day, maybe 2. i know its only like a 5-7 hour job since i'm replacing it with the exact same engine, i guess i'm just not confident enough in my ability to get it done that fast. i was just wondering if there is anyone in the md/dc/poss. nova? area that would be willing to give me a hand with it. i'm not looking for someone to do it for me and i dont have the cash to pay someone but its killing me to see my car sit in the driveway. that, and i need at least 1 of my 2 vehicles to work. i'll definately do whatever i can to make it worth your time(food,beer...). i need my cb back!
p.s. i have a 95 mitsu mighty max with minor electrical probs that i'm willing to sacrifice if necessary to get my car back(for sale/trade for engine). its the perfect turbo project mini truck.
