ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

People that have crappy CB7s probably don't bother taking care of them (they ARE old cars...) buy an older "luxury" car, take the same care of it, and it'll treat you even worse than the CB7.

Anyway, back on topic... Bosch o2 sensors almost NEVER work properly with our cars. The best thing to do is go to the dealer.

Also, if you have the basic airflow mods... intake, header, exhaust... the ECU will generally cause the car to run richer. It sees more air, and dumps more fuel. Especially at WOT.
Whoa. haha, you are right though, we are all enthusiast on this site, at least I hope we are, anywho well I will buy that ecu, hopefully a local junkyard should have some good ones. If it is my ecu I wonder how it got messed up in the first place? Also, same here, even though this car has given me crap loads of trouble so far, i dont plan on sellin or replacing it in the future. I want to keep it as long as possible really.

Just don't come on here and tell people that the solution to their problems is to sell their car and get something else. That is not the purpose of this site, and I don't care to have people on here that choose to show that sort of disrespect.

I only smell that fuel odor when I hit WOT or just mash the gas hard but other than that I dont smell that at all. I doubt if its the fuel injector, I checked that very well from a past experience. ECU, idk it seems to be working fine. And the computer sensor, I have to look into that. But your right, could be any of these. But pretty_ricky302, what would you or even any of you other cb tuners say is the most common reason of why my car could be running rich?

Give me $100 a month, Ricky, and we'll see if you take it seriously as well... because that's what I pay to keep this site around (and free) for all you guys.

I don't appreciate when someone comes on here asking for help, and the answer they get is "just sell it and get something better, that's what I'm doing"

You DID help him, and I missed that. I apologize. Still, "sell the car" is just a really shitty thing to say. If you don't like your car, fine... but I've seen way too many people come on here talking about their new cars like they just found god. We have old cars. We like our old cars. If we don't like our old cars, we sell them... but anyone who wants to fix the car should have the support of the members of a site like this... not "sell the car".
