Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

    Dimming lights

Finally, it has started, My 90 has started to get dimming lights everywhere when i hit the brakes. I havent done a test on my alternator/battery yet, but my main question is, is this usually an alternator problem, or a negative cable problem?
    Thanks.

You can always pull your alternator/battery and get it tested by a parts store. Thats if you dont have a DVOM to test the system. If you have really corroded terminals I would recommend cleaning them also.

I have had this problem a couple of times espically after it gets cold. I had my altenator and my battery tested and were fine evertime it does this it is a ground that is not contacting.

Im thinking that u have a short-to-power problem in your circuit so u might want to check that the wires corresponding to the lights is not touching any wires that could take the current away from it.

Check your negative ground wire leading from your battery to transmission and battery to a chaise ground, mine broke there and i had a similar problem.

make sure your battery terminals and ground connections are clean if the all looks good have your battery and alternator checked if thats all lookin good you might have corrosion inside the battery cable itself...i had that on my first cb cause a bunch of goofy shit to happen lol

I honestly dont think its a ground issue, i have a brand new cable (put it on a few weeks ago) and most of my negative wires are new (doing my own negative grounding kit) Im replacing most of it with high currancy audio wire, most of it is 4gauge and 8 gauge, excent the main tranny ground which i upgraded to a 0gauge. (used to be 1guage) The alternator however was replaced i think 10 years ago, so, being that its the 2nd one in there, i think the brushes might need to be redone, and buying a new one (NEW, not remanned) will be a better option since its only like 20 bucks more. There are no negative-to-positive shorts, otherwise i would be blowing fuses, and i have yet to do that.. other then my CC not working, (computer blew again... 3rd time in 5 months) thats the only thing im worried about. If it helps, im also running a total of 775WRMS of total power with my amps, so i know that could be draining a bit, but it cant be that much :s.... any help appreciated.

EDIT: By the way, i usually have to clean my terminals every couple weeks (acid corossion) Could this be a playing factor in my issues? That its building up every couple weeks?

So i just went into the garage, and my car was DEAD.. totally done, wouldnt even try and turn over, i had to jump it. I got a charging reading of 12.5.. is that good? Last i heard it should be 13.10-14 DCV... please correct me if im wrong. Also, my daytime runners have been screwing up, if i dont have my lights in the on position, they turn on and off, random times too... any insight on this? I hear there is a switch to turn them on and off, where abouts is this switch so i can just turn it off?

My Battery is 13.1 with engine off and overnight
14.45 is when engine is running

Take your fuse box out under you hood and unplug, then plug back in all the connectors.
Take out all fuses (And fuse blocks)
                          Clean it ALL
I had a Beemer that has corroded fuses everywhere, nothing worked lol

Well here is the thing, i caught the corosion before it got bad in there, i cleaned it out already, the positive wire was even replaced too going from the battery to the box. All the fuses are near new, under a month old, i replaced them 2 months after i bought the car... Also, i should mention the 12.5X is at idle, idle sits at 800RPM.

EDIT: Hit me up on AIM if you want, i just set it all back up.

                              I've gotten 14.45 at 350 idle
But now since my O2 sensor died its 800 rpm
