ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I'd recommend a good suspension as a better first modification. Make it handle, then make it faster. More power does you no good if you can't get it to the ground.

uhh, I'm no h22 enthusiast but I think the swap costs a little more than $1500, so if you want to save up you can but personally I wanted to jump right in. If I were you I would upgrade the suspension first, then maybe throw on a cat back of your choice. Welcome to the club

. . . go with tein suspension, thats not a bad choice, on the exhaust i say get a custom mandrel bent a try one of the titanium mufflers that are burnt and the end, i havent seen one with that . . .

Well the h22 is going to cost you about $1700+shipping. Honestly the first thing I'd do as far as overall performance goes is to replace the bushings with a kit from either Energy Suspension or Prothane. Then look at your suspension, as said before there's no point to power if you can't connect. And then work on making the engine better. That's my opinion, as the above posts are the opinions of the posters, what you do with your car is your choice.

Yeah they are polyurethane. I haven't done it to my car yet, but I'm doing it this winter. Also one of my friends did it and he says you can definitely tell the difference, as does everybody on here that's done it.

Generally they use just the plenum, which is has a bigger volume, on the a6 runners, which are shorter than the h23 runners. They do this because the bigger plenum and the longer runners give you more top end power, the smaller plenum and shorter runner give you more low end power, and the bigger plenum and shorter runners give you a good balance of the two.

Not to be rude or anything but try searching next time, there's a thread maybe two or three threads below this one on the same topic.
