ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

THe type-S is in the 5th gen LUD,

jus get the 4th gen lude h22, its obd1, which in the long run is easier to tune , plus u wont have to convert and wires or anything since the cb is od1 already

Its not really a plug and play liek other F motors, but u will need to cut and etend some wires. LOTS of people have done this swap on here, some 1 will help

FOr future purposes. Theres 2 more motors that are twin cam that will drop rite in our cb's, thats plugs rite in, These motors are NON VTAK, there is the JDM F22b, and JDM f20A SI.

jus use the search box to find info on these motors. ALSO ebay!.

Some false info in here...so I will help you out because I feel like being nice.

                1. OBD1 4th gen H22 or USDM H22A1 are the easiest to drop into the car.

                2. The fifth gens WERE different. More compression and bigger oil journals on the crank but thats about it.

                3. Power ratings are different also:
                4th gen jdm h22a = 200hp
                4th gen usdm h22a1 = 190hp
5th gen usdm base = 190hp-200hp depending on year
                5th gen usdm Type SH = 200hp
                5th gen JDM Euro R = 220hp
                5th gen JDM Type S = 220hp

                4. You can make the obd2 ones work by either converting or making your car into obd2. ONly a few have done this on the board but the easiest IMO is to convert to obd1.

                5. Its not all plug and play...Its a direct drop in. Read the sticky in the swaps forum it explains everything needed for the h22a swap.
