ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

    2005 Honda Accord headlights

    Hi there,

I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX (4dr) that I want to take to the UK for a couple of years. The bad thing is that they drive on the wrong side of the road out there, and to use the car I need to change the headlights, so that the low beam doesn’t dazzle the incoming drivers. The low beam must not have a "kick up" to the right, as is the case with the original Honda lights. Ideally, the headlight should have a kick-up to the left (adjustible right-left low beam). As far as I understand they would also accept the lights with the “flat” low beam (without kick-up). I was trying to find such lights over the internet without success, but maybe I have been looking in the wrong places. I am wondering if someone can suggest the headlights with such properties. If you do not know of such commercially available lights I would highly appreciate any suggestions regarding modifications to the existing lights.

    Best seasons greetings,

    Mos-1

i think he meant to say get some lights while you are there, shouldnt they be the correct lighting? but you would have to find out if they have that year model accord over there, also look for jdm ones, they drive on the other side too, correct?
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

I'm pretty sure that that year accord didn't come in japan. So I'm also going to guess they didn't have it in the uk. Aka euro accord-r is signifigantly different from ours.

Headlights are adjustable... just angle them down?

          2005 Honda Accord headlights

The 2005 Accord LX model I have problem with is produced in the US for the US market. There is no equivalent UK or Japanese Honda model. They are not only named differently, but just look completely different. The same is with the continental Europe models, probably to prevent competition between American and European Honda branches.
So, I am still stuck with the original headlights problem.

          Cheers,

Honda Inspire looks indeed very familiar. Thanks for the inspiration. Now need to find out if the headlights do match.
