ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Do I Have Gas?!!!!

my gas needle won't move i need to know if there is a fuse that might be blown or if there is a sensor that i might need to replace... i need to know A.S.A.P... thanks

was it working and then just stopped??? dose your gas light come on??? did you put some aftermarket gauge faces on it??

if none of that is right then it could be the float on the pump... have to take out the rear seat and theres a small round door you can take 3 bolts out of and theres your fuel pump make sure the float is working.... other than that i dont know unless your cluster is somehow broken

Please, Leave me some feeedback on my ride ^CLICK ^CLICK ^CLICK

          Why are you running 93?

i run 93 because better gas MPG and better for motor (and because that what the guy told me to use when i bought car) might besame for him

MPG MAYBE... but not enough to justify the extra cost of 93. It's not better for the motor. The motor was designed for 87. I HAVE to run 93 in my GTP because of the supercharger, and my CB7 because of the compression... I wish I could do 87 again!

I don't think running higher octane will give you any MPG gains. It might but not noticeable at all. I would run higher octane if it has an engine knock. Otherwise you are just donating some portion of what you pay to the station.

if you have a stock motor, running anything but 87 octane is throwing money out the window. as far as your problem, either your sending unit is bad, some wires have grounded themselves, or your guage cluster is messed up.

you guys do know what the higher number on the octane means, right?

It completley pointless if the compression in the motor isnt utilizing the gas, which its not, At least for a stock f22a.

Sounds like the sending unit/float in the tank.

LOL at the funny title. But why not just go off of the miles on the trip meter? even if you use 20mpg as a baseline that should be pretty safe.

lol you will know when your out of gas! If i were you i wouldnt be pushing on how many miles you are getting to a tank, until after you get that fixed. I would say no more than 325 miles before filling up... depending on how you drive too, maybe less idk good luck on getting it fixed
