ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Engine & Tranny Question

For those of you who don't know I have just recently established that my 93' 2 door coupe is an LX because it has no sunroof, I have gathered some info about 2 motors, i need to know which one is in my whip and which standard transmission will be best for it, right now its an auto of course, and i saw somewhere on here that they now produce the bracket for this auto to standard swap, anyway heres the info i have gathered on these motors now which one do i have? and which tranny to use?

    F22A1: 1990-1993 Accord, 2.2 liter (2156 cm³), MPFI fuel system, 125 hp (93 kW) @ 5200 rpm, 137 lbf·ft (186 N·m) @ 4000 rpm, 8.8:1 compression, oil pressure 50 psi (340 kPa) @ 3000 rpm.

    F22A6 1991-1993 Accord, 2.2 liter (2156 cm³), MPFI fuel system, 140 hp (104 kW) @ 5600 rpm, 142 lbf·ft (193 N·m) @ 4500 rpm, 8.8:1 compression, oil pressure 50 psi (340 kPa) @ 3000 rpm.

    thanks

You most likely have the A1 engine. The A6 only came on SE's and EX's. so that be good for like 125hp vs the EX's 140hp(b/c of cam, intake mani. and exhaust header/muffler)

H23 transmission works very well with an F22's powerband
