ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    LEAK in cb7, help please!!

hi, i have been having this problem for a few months now. For some reason the passenger side of my 92 4 door accord is very wet. the front and the back carpets are soaked in water and its not a leak from the windows or anything.

my trunk was leaking a bit as well but i applied some sealent and its a lot dryer now. i have gone to a mechanic who sprayed a hose over the car to find out if it was leaking but it wasn't. he said it was probably cause i parked over a puddle or something.

i used towels to try to dry the floor and it got pretty dry for a day or two but now it is back to being soaking wet. i heard it can be from the air conditioner or something like that. im a noobie but can someone please help, thanks.

My windshield leaks every once in a while in rough storms, and it'll drip in strange places sometimes.

Are you sure it's water? If it smells like antifreeze, you could have a bad heater core.

My first instinct if you are sure the car isn't leaking from outside to inside would be the heater core. Check your coolant level, and if it's low, you may have found your problem.

I have the same problem. but i checked my antifreeze and it wasn't low at all. Mine only gets wet when it rain's. I took out my carpet and i'm in the process of removing the sound deadening tar bs. My passenger side still gets wet and the rear floor board gets wet, like a puddle. I'm thinking its something under the cowl where the windshield wipers are. I need to take my hood off and remove it and take a look see.

Good suggestions. Also, if you do live in a rusty state with salt on the roads, perhaps there could be water coming through a rust hole somewhere near the floor.

mine has the exact same problem, but not always, the passenger side carpet got wet sometimes

and my trunk leaks as well, it's from the trunk rubber seal, remove the rubber and check for rust... mine is terribly rusted
