ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

what color smoke is it coming out of the tail pipe? if it is excessive white smoke, it sounds to me like you need a head gasket. This would explain your leaking anti-freeze and white smoke billowing out of the ass end of your cb7. Also, as mentioned before, to fix your idle problem I would start by cleaning your IAC valve located on the plenum of your intake manifold. if the problem persists, turn to vacumm lines. you may either have a cracked and coroded line or a missing line. but to check for cracks and corosion, spend around two bucks and pick up a can of carb cleaner. then spray over each vaccum line checking for cracks. you can tell it's cracked by the idle raising (motor revving) with each squirt of the can on that same line.

The head gasket is good ...the only reason the intakemanifold was leaking was under the egr valve the nipple for a coolant line was broken

is there i diffrence between a auto and 5 speed manifold?

Does anybody have a diagram of the vac system ?
              thanks yall

take the plate off the fitv and tighten down the big white screw inside that. it should fix the problem.

also the only difference intake wise is that the throttlebody has a second pulley thing on an automatic

Fast Idle Thermo Valve.... its right beside the idle air control valve. there are two screws on the top take them off and youll see a rubber plunger like thing you saw in the EGR. check for cracks, then theres a white(or milky yellow) cap turn it clockwise until tight. if its cracked replace it. if that doesnt work then follow the steps for reseting the (IACV) id imagine since you unpluged and removed it along with a new IM you may need to "reset" it. someone else posted the thread i think.

*Try to avoid adjusting the idle screw unless its moved, loose, or you forgot to put it in on the new manifold.(if i still had access to ALL DATA id pull out the diagram...sorry) however i think if you look itll be posted somewhere!

                          good luck
