ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    wondering about the IAB

so i got the iab wired to the ecu and im going to run the vacuum hose from the iab to the number 12 location on the h22a intake manifold. does that sound like a good thing to do? or is the iab just going to be controlled by the ecu and its pointless to hookup the vacuum line? is it ok to leave that #12 nipple on the intake manifold not hooked to anything or capped off?

The IAB is vacuum operated so you need it hooked up to your manifold

If you got your IAB wired up in the ECU for stock-like function, you need to hook up the IAB diaphragm port to the IAB solenoid to work properly. Hooking it up to the intake manifold bypasses all this and you just wasted your time having the ECU wired.

Did you get the black vacuum tank? Cause that's where the tube from the IAB plate goes, and then a hose from that tank goes to a port on the manifold. I'm guessing you did, cause that is where the wire from the PT6 ecu has to go.

is the black vacuum tank the round diaphram thing that has the bent nipple on it?

No, it is a small black tank that should be hanging on the bottom side of the IM. The wires you add should go to that tank...

The vacuum line should come from that diaphragm around the back on the IM to this tank, and another line should go from the tank into a port on the manifold.

                    sorry I didn't realize you didn't have 30 posts.

Here's a DIY on how to fix it, I know you don't have to fix it,but it's some nice pics of it.

If you don't know what the IAB solenoid is and you have an LX Accord (F22a1 engine, which would not come with IAB stock), then you must not have bought the entire system.

Go to the DIY section and look it up. I know I saw one person selling two IAB solenoids/vacuum tanks in the classifieds section.

Anyhow, you need further understanding of the setup, to know what you need and to make it work properly.
