HEY WELL IM NEW 2 HERE AN JUST BARELY GETTIN THE HANG OF IT BUT I HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH MY ACCORD! IT CUTS OFF WHEN YOU REACH A STOP AND IF U TRY 2 STARTED UP IT WONT START IT IL TURN OVER BUT WONT START DEY TOLD ME ITS DA DISTRIBOTER BUT NOT SURE PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Step 1: lay off capslock IT ISNT THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD
When you took it to your mechanic, what exactly did he say, it does souns like a dizzy problem, but for the car to even start at all, it needs that electrical spark.
What have you recently done to the car, any kind of mods, any maintenance you just did? Were gonna need a little more info to diagnose your problem

Hey man thanx for awserin well it has k/n oil filter apc air filter brand new NGK SPARK PLUGS ACCEL SPARK WIRES new cap and rotor fresh oil i changed the valve cover and the gasket and replaced the o-ring on the distributer!!!!!

When you put the dizzy back on, did you put it at the proper timing position, retarding or advancing the timing on the dizzy can *but not always* do that. When you did your spark plugs, did you gap them correctly?

YEA i did everyting was rite except it always had done dat even b4 the tune -up it still did that??????

Well if it was sputtering before the tuneup, it shoulda been looked at before replacing everything When you took off the dizzy, did you see anything charred, or anything that may have looked off? How long ago did you clean your fuel injectors?

Now that i never had done that ever since i got the car never did but i never thought that b-cuz it would always turn on but u had to wait atleast 5mins after it turn off!

Yeah man, sounds like your injectors are clogged... Btw, silly me, is your CEL light on? The little engine light?

YEAP my CEL is on but not when you started it il turn on mayb 8-15 mins later but that dosent turn of when the light comes on????

it could be a lot of thigs really, but i would check the igniton timing since you said you removed the distributor. it could also be a vaccum leak or even the main relay starting to crap out. later.

Yea cuz i dont want to burn out the engine! but many ppl say is the distributer but il hav to replace everytin instead? can you put aftermarket injectors on the 2.2 4 cylinder??????

regardless if its the distributor or not, you need to pull that code to find out whats going on. Pull that code with the link above, it will give you instructions on what to do. If you have any problems let us know.

what about the coil

sounds like you changed everything except the ignition coil itself. that what probably took the dump. even though you car is ex its 90-91 which i think is internal. or like tyoe g said your main relay is going bad.

but also make sure the ignitor isnt bad, cus it will take out a new coil fast.
