    quick release Question...

i went to the junk yard to look for some parts and found this carbon fiber steering wheel in a trunk of a car. The question is... can i put it in my 1997 honda accord with or without a quick release hub. I found only the wheel nothing else.

its a 5 bolt. most common aftermarket hubs are 6 bolt.
im not sure how easy it would be to find one that would work. if at all possible.

that looks like a grant style steering wheel. I believe they make 5->6 pattern adapter so you can use reputable hubs like momo, nrg and etc.

      something like this i suppose:

if i cant find the conversion hub, you think i can drill the holes in there? you think it would mess with the turning?

err..there is a conversion hub. I'd just buy what I just linked you to with a proper momo hub and be done.

so you still need a hub, I recommend momo if you're tight on cash. There are cheaper boss/hkb ones but it's hard to find out of they're real or not.
