Cruise control not working 95 Accord V6

On my moms accord v6, 1995 2.7L. the cruise control is not working. The indicator lights work and everything. When I press the button on the steering wheel, the light in the gauge cluster lights up to show its turned on BUT the car will not hold at any speed?
what do you call 2 lebs in an accord?

    check throttle body cable connection
Cruise works with a metal cable (rubber wrap) to the TB to hold the TB

Yup, check the cable at the throttle body.
Make sure the Speedometer is working, without it the Cruise Control Unit will not work.
Make sure you have vaccum at the actuator assembly.
Make sure you have good connections throughout the entire system: Actuator, Switch, Steering Wheel, and Control Unit.
