\ ive mentioned plenty of times how to sand and what to do my car is flat black and i did it with spray paint.

dont get yhour crap at autozone its cheap.

use a painting stick, and wrap 400 around it make sure its wet, and go at the car. then go to 800

Ideally (500 and 1000) but they dont always sell that.

sand in a FLAT diagnal motion always never up or down or side to side.

sanding is the most important thing. always do it flat, something flat in between your hand, like a paint mixing stick facing like this /

once you do 800 or 1000 then you can paint it with a gun or whatever you want john deer sells satin black for 9 bucks a gallon or something.

aftwerwards you can wetsand with 2000 grit (flat AND ANGLED) and buff with a real high speed buffer and 3M perfect it rubbing coumpound and a porous pad. (waTCH THE CORNERS)

the john deer paint lasts the longest without fading. need to use a paint gun and compressor. guess if ur really strapped could try a wagner electric gun, but i don't suggest it...
