90-91 and 92-93 Rear Bumpers Length

Which would you guys say is longer or shorter than the other?

I know the "Mugen" 90-91 rear lip is a bit short on the 92-93, so does that mean the 92-93 bumper's lower portion is longer or is it the exhaust cut out?

    Reason:
My xenon rear lip fits a tad funky on my 90-91, it's like a half inch too short, and I have to muscle it on.

Thinking it may be for the 92-93 and not a 90-91.

Edit: I know my bumper is 90-91, it's the original bumper.

The built in lip on the 90-91 is more of a straight up down | shape. The one for the 92-93 may look flat. but it curves near the bottom end \. The exhaust arch on the 90-91 is more squared off while the 92-93 has a cleaner U shape.

If you have a wrong year lip, this will probably tell you so. Since the 92-93 oem lip curves out towards the bottom and the arch being a different shape bigger, fitting a 90-91 aftermarket lip may make it make it appear slightly shorter on the edges where it meets the wheel well by a 1-2cm so stretching or modification is needed in order for the lip to fit right and vise versa when installing a 92-93 lip on a 90-91 bumper.

Ah thanks for the clarification Kurobei.

It would make sense that this lip would fit a 92-93 as the ends as you say are angled towards the back. This angle would probably give this lip enough space to grab the bumper.
