Yeah, it was West Coast Custom's show.
It cost nearly $2000 for the plexiglass roof.
I can't imagine how much it'd cost for a glass roof.

Ya thats right I remember watching that one also. I think it was for some dude in Dubai right? Anyways, I'm sure it would be cool and one of a kind for our cars, but at the same time I would also put the money towards something else.

i could see glass roof for a non ex but i wouldnt give up my sunroof. they should make it easily removable like a T top

id rather have a carbon fiber roof cap than a glass one. I hate my sunroof and painted the inside of it black so i dont have sun coming in.

idk...it'd be kinda neat but that's alot of money. I think the jdm odyssey came with that option, or something like it. Seems like I saw it in a super street...white odyssey dumped on some work eurolines, or a similar wheel? anyone remember that?

i think this is cool. it's different but i'd go with some thick lexans glass. its just like plexi but more durable and weighs less than glass and plexi.

I've seen this done on a rat rod but it was done with bubble plexi. It looked awesome, no reason the same conspect can't be applyed to a CB. Also you could add bracing to slove the rigidty problems you may interfer with.

the only thing i've seen close to that is those cloth BIG sunroofs. idk what you call them.

the roof is actually a big part of the rigidity of the car. for example the aston martin db9 convertible is something like 3 seconds slower around the top gear track than the normal db9 hardtop. however you can just add a roll bar
