Altezza/euro tails question

Has anyone ever tried putting the clear lenses of the tails over oem housing?

I know the diffusers inside oem housings are clear but you can either paint those or paint the lenses.

Just an idea.

i think people have used the bottoms for red/clears but i havent seen anything like you want

may be difficult to do and keep the light relections from crossing one another btu for the money you may as well hunt down some red/clears. Or just keep the OEM.
