Shift knob removal.

When I try to remove my shift knob, the whole thing turns.
How can I just turn the know off itself?
Do OEM knobs screw on?

You have to pinch below the knob, the front and back. Its like a clip. Or you can carefully stick a screwdriver in there and pry it lose

Oem screws on, you gotta pop the shift boot off it. It kinda snaps into the shift knob. Then you can screw it off.
