need help with body work!!!!

i posted a thread here a while back but i didn't get much response from the guys who know how to fix that kind of problem

can anyone tell me if body filler will work on this kind of damage???

You will need to pull the dent out as much as you can and get it as straight as you can, and then go over it with duraglass and then skim over that with bondo to get it straight.

Just filling in the big dent with bondo wil eventually crack out.

that is all i can pull out of it. whatever i got to do now its with body filler or something.
i just got to make sure that duraglass or whatever its gona stay in there and not chip away.

Well it needs to be down to the bare metal for duraglass to stick very good. It won't stickl to paint, it will just flake off when it hardens. So grind down to the metal and glass over it.

where can i find duraglass. is it the same as fiberglass. i went to autozone and i only saw body filler.

bro it looks like thatss right on the corner, and if it is forget about body filler even duraglass.

the only solution i see is to cut out that piece, the whole edge and weld on a different one.

why i dont suggest body filler

because that part is going to be hard to shape.

slam your door 2 3 times and cracks will appear if the whole thing dont fall off.

the best thing to do is a whole new complete quarter panel from the side post to the rear. but $$$$?

lol bodyfiller doesnt crack that easily if it's applied right.

if you've had small dents fixed before, they use body filler.

even if he has a new quarter welded in, they put body filler over the weld lines after the tacks are grinded down, so there's going to be body filler there anyways.

if he gets the dent as straight as he can, almost perfect, and applies the body filler correctly, such as duraglass or tiger hair, then he will be fine.

i mean i don't want it perferct. u know. i just wanna make it less visible. i don't care if it looks fron close by. i just don't want it to look that bad.
