    RIP for now CB :(

Alright so it all started with my brake light issue i posted here about a month ago. The problem was solved because I was low on brake fluid.

The brake light came up again while I was driving about a week ago, but I kinda left it alone because last time it happened, the brakes were fine for several days.

My dad and I also checked to see where the leak was and checked the brakes lines in the front and didnt see anything.

So my sister took the car to school the next day to attend her summer school classes about 20 miles away from my house. Approaching a stop light intersection, the 2000 Ford Ranger in front of her was cut off by some other driver and slammed on his brakes. My sister immediately put her brakes on, but they failed to engage and panicked so much she forgot about the e-brake.

Here are the pictures from the accident. I figured I would need:
    -hood
    -left fender
    -driver side headlight
    -driver side corner light

    Anything else I should/might need?
Thanks a lot and I hope she can be up and running again soon!

it was that guys fault that cut you off? get insurance money from him and fix it up better.

looks like you need hood fender headlight, corner light. radiator support and the stuff inside the engine bay that was crushed.

    good luck.

That radiator support won't pull straight.

Honestly, to some insurance companies this might be close to totalled since our cars don't hold much value today.

      I'd say:
      Hood
      Fender
      Grille
      Rad support
      Headlight
      Paint

I can see you spending $350-400 if you shop smart and paint it yourself (assuming you can paint).

I'm almost positive that judging by the damage posted you'll will encounter a lot more damage once the headlights and bumper is removed, look like you'll have to bust out the good ole hammer n block of wood on this one. GL

no, this guy cut off the guy that was in front of my sister, who she hit. The man who created this whole accident drove off.

I doubt that anything underneath the bumper was damaged. most of the damage is shown in the pictures but i was also thinking there might be damage under the headlight brackets.

Well knowing that we can paint, I'll leave it with a primered hood and fender lol. But thanks a lot. This gives me a good estimate of what I will be spending. This also encourages me on a new front end build lol.

My cb was our family taxi. We'd all take turns taking it to school and work that was 30+min drives. I missed my MPG

                    Haha I know right?
Yeah my dad and I are going to pick a part tomorrow to see what we can find. How much would paint on a hood and fender roughly be at a shop? I can't paint

Find white parts No paint required

As for the leak, check your master cylinder. Mine was leaking a while ago, and would lose pressure while I was stopped. Not cool.

I never found out what it was.
After the first time I figured I was out of fluid, I put some more in and before you know it, a couple weeks later or close to a month it was all gone, and this accident was the result unfortunately
