    H22 VC PC'd

I'm doing G22 build and I was catching up some powder coating last night at the shop and I thought I'd work my H22 valve cover through while I was doing a K20 . My car being blue and I've seen Accord H22's with blue wrinkle finishes I decided I would do mine in wrinkle blue . I sometimes mill the PC off the letter of valve covers , depending on which way the customer wants it . I decided that i wanted mine milled and here's the results . What'cha think ?

that looks really good. I'm not sure if i want to powder coat my F22 VC or if i want to sand it down and mirror polish it.

Thanks . My engine parts are nearly all here now . I've been looking at other members build thread's trying to get idea's on how to do one for my car . I've been taking pictures as I took the car apart and the parts as they come in . All I have now is a stripped hull and boxes of parts , I hope I manage to get it back together .

That looks awesome. I had my valve cover powder coated as well. Here's a pic of it.

PC is some tough stuff . I've been doing it going on 2 years now and it's just so tough of a finish for stuff like valve covers and sticks to aluminum better than I've ever seen paint stick .

If you were asking me , blazenem is right , I did it myself . I have a shop on the side and one of the things I do is powder coating . I've been doing around 2 years now . Most everything that unbolts on my current project car will be powder coated . I still plan on doing the engine block , head and tranny case . I've only see the engine powder coated on 1 car and it was a Supra that someone had done and posted pictures of on one of the powder coating forums I'm on .
