    opinions on rust protection

hi everyone, for some of us northern members winter can be harsh on our cb's
just wanted to see what people had for idea;s on rust treating their car's. besides the basic stuff like undercoating, what would be the best to making sure everything can pretty much prevent rust...i just did a windshield replacement and was disgusted to see i had holes forming around my windshield...basically i want to stop it from rusting anymore, in my area 92-93 exr coupes are hard to find in a 5spd i'd like to restore my car to the best of my ability

    as a fellow ontario'ion, i fell your pain...lol
under coat is important, but what you can do beyond that,is go to canadian tire,or any parts shop, and get this stuff made by rust check.

it is a liquid that does not dry up in extreme weather conditions, and what u do is coat the underside of the car and anywhere else your worried about rust with it....brush it on everywhere, its 20 bucks for a can and u might need more then one,but it will not let anything stick to the car ie:salt,dust,corrosion,etc..

if you don't have the money u can also use old motor oil and again brush it on everywhere...both methods work great, but the rust check stays on longer.

i will be doing this to my civic...good luck bro
