Hello,
I've noticed a few people on hear have done their lower grill using mesh gutter cover. Many have done the upper grill (including my self).
Anyhow, I was wondering about how I should do the lower grill (9091). I've already got the entire bumper assembly off, so should I cut off the plastic "vent" looking pieces (and sand) on the lower grill and have the mesh behind the bumper cover, or place it over these "vent" looking pieces. Secondly, how should I mount it? If I put it on from behind the bumper cover I could screw it in or w/e, wouldn't be able to see... However, if its on the front I would need to solder or use clear silicon?
Just asking for advice before I go ahead and tear at my bumper cover; no local junkyards have any bumper covers around that are in good shape. On top of that, the $30 ones on ebay cost $160 to ship to BC, Canada... Any ideas are much appreciated!
Also, this is what my lower grill looks like (to give you an idea):
