    other models

hey i was just wondering what other honda models did they use the CB7 frame/body in.

iv seen an uper class looking honda that i could swear they used the CB7 body as the base.
its got way different headlights and grill to match aswell as afew other differences but all the panels look the same as the CB and the profile of the body.

I don't think they are related to the CB7, but the upscale Hondas you're probably thinking of would probably be the Vigor or Legend or perhaps an Integra.

        Honda ascot

Its a honda accord chassis with some upgraded body parts and some strange windows on the C pillar

Also its 4ws model has a unique dash

Here is the corney ass japanese promotional video for it

Im pretty sure all you would need is the trunk and outter taillights

Actually you could probably get away without the trunk since it would cover up the old taillight spot anyways.

            They're kinda ugly though.

It looks like you would need some rear quarter panel modification. I like the lights though. If you got rid of the chrome and color matched the lame part in between them.
They'd look like our stock tails, but skinnier.
              IDK, something different.

Im pretty sure the power folding mirrors came on any JDM cb7 with power mirrors.

Remember, not all jdm cars are good. Their low end cars SUCK

f18a carburated motor with an automatic transmission sounds just AWFUL.

Their top end cars are better than ours ( not by much ) and their low end cars are less equipped than our DX

Im not sure the trims in new zealand but im imagine them to be similar to europe which is mostly similar to the united states.

hey does your car have a 17 digit vin? If yes then what is the first digit of your vin?

                    Yes, correct, Ascot.

shares the same CB1/2/3/4 chassis as the Accord, but uses a different model code (SM3) whereas our Accords are SM4.

Many pics of the Accord Ascot in this forum. I've uploaded a few myself.

yeah the 1.8 carb version sounds real crap.
mine is NZDM and the first 3 digits are 7A3 on the VIN.

Your car was actually made in new zealand

Apperently honda made our cars in new zealand for a other countries. Not many people know this since new zealand made cars aren't in america.
