    Painting flushmount

So I got an OEM flushmount yesterday from a guy parting out his cb.

I was curious what kind of paint other people have used to paint it.
As well as what kind of prep work you did.

I'm just a bit unsure since it's that foamy shiz.

i sanded mine's down with a DA and 180 grit, this thing had 5 coats of paint and big cracks
sand down the paint then go over with 320grit and finalise with 60
theres adhesives and glues you can use for the cracking, but eventually it will crack again

do your best, if it doesnt work out you can buy a fiberglass copy and never have problems
