    92-93 sedan trunk lid alignment

So I found a nice 92-93 sedan trunk lid with an L.E.D. spoiler for a nice price and picked it up. I have a 91 sedan. I went to put it on my car today and it didn't really fit great. I don't know if I am missing something or if there is just no room for adjusting things?

The trunk is out too far by about 1/8 of an inch and was up to far by about the same on just the ends of the lid. I was able to fix the ends by forcing them down and now they are flush with the quarter panel, but the trunk lid is still out too far. Is there any way I can push it in more?

I'm sorry if this is confusing. It's just the best way I can detail it without pics. I will try to get some tomorrow if you don't understand me.

im not sure if i understand but i think i do. the 4 bolts holding the lid, lossen them and it should push back and thenyou can adjust it to how you want. im not sure if this is any help to you but thats what i did when i did my trunk swap

I tried that, but the holes aren't adjustable, they are just big enough for the bolt to go through. I might just "persuade" it to fit.....

i think most people who do the trunk swap actually swap the arms with it? i may be wrong.

i kept my old arms too, and now that i think about it i did play alittle with the trunk latch, but if the holes are too small, use a drill bit and make them a (little) bigger dont go crazy.

My trunk latch is just fine I found that when the trunk latches it fits much, much better.... Guess I should have hooked everything up before I jumped to conclusions.
